Airway hyperreactivity to methacholine challenge is abrogated by vaccination. Mice were sensitized to allergen (400 μg OVA) using alum i.p. (days 0 and 12), given a single i.d. vaccine injection on Day 20, and then challenged i.n. with 50 μg OVA daily on days 28–33.
