(A) Tenfold serial dilutions of different strains (YO1338, YO1339, YO1359, YO1360, YO1450, and YO1451) containing pRS305 (Vector) or its derivatives carrying different Chs2*-GFP alleles integrated at the leu2 locus of a parent strain (chs2∆ CDC3-mCherry) were spotted onto plates containing either minimal medium (SC‑LEU) or rich medium (YPD) and grown for 2–3 d at 25°C. (B) Strains indicated in A were grown to exponential phase in liquid SC-LEU or rich (YM-1) media at 25°C. Percentages of cell clusters (counted >200 cells for each strain under each growth condition) were analyzed as indicated.
