Inhibitory effect of thirteen hydrolyzable tannins on β-hexosaminidase release from antigen-stimulated RBL-2H3 cells. The cells (5.0 × 104 cells/well) were preincubated with different concentrations (μM) of each compound at 37 °C for 10 min prior to their incubation with DNP-BSA. The results, which represent the average of three independent experiments ± SD, are presented as a percentage of control (100 % i.e., DNP-BSA only).
