PRL/glucocorticoid treatment has no effect on assembly of PR with the β-casein promoter and enhancer but accelerates disassembly. HC-11 cells were transduced with 50 pfu/cell of adenovirus encoding hPR-B and then treated for 1 h as in Fig. 2 with either: ethyl alcohol (EtOH) (−control), ovine PRL/HC, R5020, or ovine PRL/HC + R5020. Cells were harvested and processed for ChIP assay as in Fig. 2 except using antibody to PR (1294). A, PR binding to the promoter and enhancer in response to R5020 at different time points between 5 min and 24 h.
