Testicular extracts were prepared from mice at indicated age, RC/BTB2 protein was examined by Western blot analysis using the same antibody as described in Figure 4. The 61 kDa protein is detectable from day 12 after birth, the expression level is progressively increased from day 20 after birth. A protein with lower molecular weight is also detected in the extracts from mice at day 6 and 8 after birth. The 50 kDa signal at day 42 may represent degradation product of the full-length 61 kDa protein. The membrane was re-probed with anti-actin antibody as a loading control.
