The DVA during all head impulse planes was worse in patient subjects with vestibular pathology than the DVA in the controls. In the patient subjects, we found DVA asymmetry for yaw head impulses only. The ipsilesional yaw DVA scores were also worse than DVA during roll to either side. DVA in controls was similar within planar head impulses (i.e., right vs. left, up vs. down) and thus combined.
