Cell corpse recognition and rescue activity of TTR-52 mutants. Wild-type and mutant TTR-52-mCherry were expressed in ttr-52 (tm2078) mutants controlled by C. elegans heat-shock promoters. After heat-shock treatment, the number of cell corpses (top) and the clustering of TTR-52::mCherry around dying cells (bottom) were scored in 1.5-fold stage embryos.
