In vivo activities of oxidized and reduced Pst-T4L and Pst disulfide derivatives

The numbers indicate the diameters of lysis zones (turbid lysis zones in parentheses) that were formed on LB agar plates seeded with the pesticin-sensitive E. coli strain SIP1322 fyuA+ onto which 6 μl of serial 101- to 105-fold dilutions of pesticin solutions were placed. The concentration of the stock solution was 10 μm for Pst-T4L wild type and derivatives and 2 mm for Pst wild type and derivatives. – indicates no lysis zone.
