Conversion of hepatic PC into TG in Pemt^−/−, Ctα^−/−, and their respective wild-type control mice. Twenty-four hours after intravenous injection of [³H]PC-HDL into Pemt^−/− (A) and Ctα^−/− (B) mice and their controls, livers were collected, and radioactivity in PC and TG was quantified. The percentages of PC converted into TG were calculated by dividing the radioactivity in TG by the total radioactivity in TG and PC combined. Values represent means ± S.E.
