Accumulation of the 58-kDa IFNaR2 stub in cells overexpressing protease-deficient presenilin-1. HEK293T cells were transiently transfected with variable amounts (μg) of plasmid DNA encoding TACE and either vector DNA or a plasmid encoding protease-deficient Presenilin-1 D257, as indicated. In addition, all cultures received plasmid DNA encoding IFNaR2-HA. Lysates were prepared and immunoblotted with anti-HA. Filters were stripped and sequentially re-probed with anti-TACE and anti-EF2. These immunoblots are representative of 4 replicates.
