Mutant p53 physically interacts with Smad2. RL cells were treated with either medium alone or TGF-β1 for 1 or 6 h. Nuclear extracts were prepared, and equal amounts of extracts were used for immunoprecipitation (IP) with anti-Smad2. Left panel, the immunocomplexes were analyzed by Western blot analysis.
