flow chart Initially, 223 participants (177 Asians/Pacific Islanders [APIs] and 46 whites) enrolled in EnhanceFitness in Kaua`i County. All participants completed baseline fitness checks, and 178 participants (147 APIs and 31 whites) completed 4-month fitness checks. Forty-five participants dropped out because they became ill, moved, or had other responsibilities. We had 119 participants (102 APIs and 17 whites) attend EnhanceFitness for more than 1 year. The anonymous satisfaction survey was administered at the first 4-month fitness checks and annually thereafter. Because 119 participants attended for more than 1 year, they completed more than 1 survey. Therefore, 374 satisfaction forms were available for analysis.
