*Association P-values shown here were calculated for regression of expression on SNP genotype, assuming an additive model. Beta is the regression coefficient, SE the standard error of beta, R2 the coefficient of determination from the regression model and T is the t-statistic testing the null hypothesis that Beta = 0. Significant association P-values based on Bonferroni correction (P < 0.003) are shown in boldface. Three of the four significantly associated SNPs are in very tight LD (r2> 0.80), and clearly represent the same signal. The fourth SNP (SNP _16) has r2 of ∼0.65 with the other three SNPs; however, modeling the expression phenotype versus a linear combination of the four SNPs suggests that the signals are not independent.
