Efficiency of SASTG transduction in rat neonatal cardiomyocytes (RNNCs). Freshly isolated RNNCs were transduced with AAV1-9 and SASTG at 50,000 particles per cell, all bearing the luciferase transgene. The vectors were applied to 10,000 cells in a 96-well format. Light emitted from the infections was assayed by luminometry the next day. These experiments in RNNCs were repeated a total of three times and data similar to those shown in Fig. 4 were observed each time. Data represent means and SD.
