(a) It is seen that transformations aimed at superimposing the partial matches results in a good superimposition of the complete proteins. (b) Class A Blase (PBDid:1E25) - it can be seen that the Glu166/OE1 has no steric hindrance from the adjacent residues (Ala167 AND Gln168). (c) Mutant L158D PBP-A (PDBid:2J9O) - neighboring residues, Pro159 and Asp160, can be seen obstructing access to substrate.
