MSC block the rise in TGF-β induced by tracheal transplant. Immunohistochemistry was performed on paraffin sections from each group. Images were captured. Using Photoshop® the lumen and subepithelial layers of each trachea were selected out of the image. The brown color of the IHC stain was then isolated from the image (A). The mean pixel density of each was then analyzed with Scion© software (B). *p<0.05 compared to allograft control.
