Overexpression of FLO8 induces filamentous growth at 25°C in 5% CO₂. The cells were grown on Lee's plus glucose agar in air and in 5% CO₂ at 25°C for 5 d. The WT strain was SC5314, a clinically isolated MTLa/α strain. The cellular phenotypes of a representative colony under each culture condition are also shown.
