A) Preoperative angiogram of an MCA aneurysm with a wide neck. This is the configuration where one or more MCA branches are incorporated and arise from the aneurysm neck-base (see discussion). B) Post-coiling angiogram showing complete occlusion of the aneurysm. There is impingement of the coils in the parent artery.
