Free-flying (i.e., wild) condor population growth in California by year shows that the number of birds has increased since 1994, when there were no free-flying condors. However, the cumulative number of birds that have died or been permanently removed from the wild far exceeds the cumulative number of chicks that have fledged in the wild.
