Bovine, wild type murine (MUC), and AβPP knockout murine (KO) retina (A, B) and retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) (C, D) were analyzed by Western blotting with O443 (A, C) or O443 preabsorbed with a peptide corresponding to the C-terminal 50 residues of AβPP (B, D). Note that bands in the 110–130 kDa and the 11–14 kDa range comigrate with similar bands in brain extracts and are lost upon peptide preabsorption.
