Apoptotic effects of Tan IIA on U-937 cells analyzed by Annexin V assay. Cells were treated with Tan IIA at 3 μg/mL and cultured for various time. The cells were stained with Annexin V-FITC and Propidium Iodide (PI) and subjected to flow cytometry analyses. Dot plots of control samples (A), DMSO-treated samples (B), samples treated with Tan IIA for 12 h (C), and samples treated with Tan IIA for 24 h (D) are shown. (E) Depicts the quantification and statistical analyses of the treatment effects. Percentages of early (R1, FITC+ and PI-), late (R2, FITC+ and PI+) and total (R1+R2, FITC+) apoptotic cells are shown. Experiments were repeated three times.
