Education
Create grandparenting classes where breastfeeding information is embedded among other topics such as car seat safety and infant/child CPR.
Facilitate grandparenting network groups, focus groups, or online discussion groups through community organizations like churches or YMCAs and include breastfeeding as a topic of discussion.
Educate grandparents along with parents about breastfeeding basics, pumping, and storage of expressed breastmilk during the postpartum hospital stay.
