Motor activity (a,b) was recorded in 1 hour intervals over a 12-h dark cycle. The average number of beam breaks across intervals is not significantly different between groups in male (a) or female (b) mice. Motor coordination, assessed on the rotorod, is impaired in wildtype folate deficient (WTFD) mice compared to GCPII+/- folate deficient (GFD) mice in both males (c) and females (d). All values are average ± SEM. n's per group are given in parenthesis next to each experimental group; * p < 0.05, ** p < 0.01.
