Bacterial suspensions in 10 mM NaPi (pH 6.8) with various concentrations of NaCl (0 to 150 mM) were treated with AG (25 μg/ml) or LL37 (1 μg/ml). Bacterial survival is expressed as a percentage, as noted in Figure 1. The data are shown as the mean ± standard deviation of three independent experiments. Significantly different from control, nontreated bacterial cells (Student’s t-test: * P < 0.05, ** P < 0.01).
