Sham denotes sham-operated rats; RIR, rats with renal I/R injury; RIR+AICAR50, rats with I/R injury treated with AICAR at the dose 50 mg·kg−1 i.v.; RIR+AICAR160, rats with I/R injury treated with AICAR at the dose 160 mg·kg−1 i.v.; RIR+AICAR500, rats with I/R injury treated with AICAR at the dose 500 mg·kg−1 i.v. Means ± SEM are given, n= 8–19 in each group.
