Colony Forming Units (CFU) of S. aureus recovered in HBSS solution incubated over (PAH/PAA)10(PS microspheres)(CX/PAA)n films, assembled on PDMS stamps, for 24 h at 37°C. These data illustrate that antibacterial activity was dependent on the number of (CX/PAA) bilayers in the films. Data represent the mean ± SEM (n≥4) from one representative experiment that was repeated three times.
