Effects of NSC95397 on ENaC mRNA expression induced by hypotonic stress. After pretreatment with 40 μM NSC95397 for 1 h in an isotonic culture medium, A6 monolayers were exposed to an isotonic or a hypotonic culture medium with or without 40 μM NSC95397 for 6 h. The mRNA expression of α-, β-, and γ-ENaC was detected by real-time PCR. Relative amounts of ENaC mRNA expression were normalized to β-actin as an internal control.
