Bone marrow derived macrophages from wild type (wt), NLRC4^−/−, NLRP3^−/−, ASC^−/− and Caspase-1^−/− (all from C57BL/6 background) were infected with B. cenocepacia MH1K for 1 h at an MOI of 50 and then treated with gentamicin to eliminate extracellular bacteria.
