Exogenous expression of Gα_q or Gα₁₁ induces persistent signaling by TRH-R1. HEK-EM293 cells stably expressing TRH-R1 or TRH-R2 were transfected with increasing concentrations of either Gα_q or Gα₁₁. Experiments were performed 48 h after transfection. IP1 production in parental HEK-EM293 cells was subtracted from values in TRH-R-expressing cells.
