Experimental setup. Left: A cylindrical container filled with saline water was placed in the center of the temperature controlled bath (37 °C). Right: DBS lead and thermocouple were immersed in the center of the saline container and maneuvered with micro-positioning system to create a temperature profile and mapping around DBS electrodes.
