Steps in the Vanderbilt Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (VICTR) Studio Program

  1. The investigator logs onto the Clinical and Translational Science Award StarBRITE Web site.3

  2. The investigator completes the “VICTR Resource Request Form” for a studio session.

  3. A studio manager reviews the request.

  4. The investigator receives a response from studio manager in 1 to 3 days.

  5. The studio manager compiles a list of 2 to 6 experts and one moderator and invites all of them to a studio session using www.doodle.com.

  6. The studio manager reserves a conference room (and, when appropriate* orders lunch or breakfast).

  7. The studio manager prepares the room (e.g., sets up the presentation, distributes handouts).

  8. The studio moderator gives the investigator 15 minutes to present and then leads the discussion.

  9. Each experts provides verbal and written feedback during the session.

  10. After the studio session, the manager organizes the feedback and sends a report to the investigator.

  11. The studio manager e-mails the expert evaluation form to the experts and moderator.

  12. Once the evaluation form is completed, an administrative assistant transfers $150 to each expert’s cost center.

Studios scheduled between 8am and 9am or 11am and 1pm include a meal.
