WT and CAR knockout (CAR KO) mice were injected with either TCPOBOP or corn oil (vehicle) on the third day after birth (3–5 mice per group). Liver total RNA was isolated when mice were 12-weeks old. Cyp2B10 (A) and Cyp2C37 (B) mRNA levels were measured by real-time quantitative PCR and normalized to β-actin mRNA levels. As a positive control, 12-week-old WT mice were pretreated with TCPOBOP. On the third day after treatment, these mouse livers were collected for gene expression analysis (right).
