The ratio of tumor tissues was significantly higher than that of corresponding non-cancerous tissues (p<0.01, Student's t-test). (C) Comparisons of the average relative mtDNA copy number ratios of the 20 cases of rectal cancer tissues and their corresponding non-cancerous tissues between different genders. The ratio of tumor tissues exhibited no significant difference (p=0.647). In corresponding non-cancerous tissues, there was also no significant difference (p=0.798).
