Reductions in Mon1a or DHC1 affect steady state Golgi and ERGIC-53 morphology. HeLa cells expressing GalNAc-T2-GFP (green) incubated with nonspecific (NS), Mon1a, or DHC1 oligonucleotides. 72 h after siRNA, cells were fixed, permeabilized, and incubated with mouse anti-ERGIC-53 (red) and rabbit anti-BiP (pseudocolored blue) followed by Alexa Fluor 594-conjugated goat anti-mouse and Alexa Fluor 647-conjugated goat anti-rabbit and imaged using a 60× oil immersion objective and an Olympus FV1000 confocal microscopy.
