Effect of axitinib on the blockade of AKT and ERK1/2 phosphorylation. S1 and S1-M1-80 were treated with axitinib at 1.0 μmol/L for 0, 3, 6 and 12 h (lanes 1–4, respectively), or at 0, 0.25, 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 μmol/L for 24 h (lanes 5–9, respectively), and lane 10 was the positive control (cells were treated with lapatinib at 10 μmol/L). An equal amount of protein was loaded for Western blot analysis as described in Materials and Methods. The experiments were repeated at least three times independently, and a representative experiment is shown.
