Compounds 1–6 (A–F, respectively) were incubated at increasing concentrations (µM) with 15 µM PA_N and single-stranded DNA plasmid M13mp18. Reaction products were resolved on a 1.0% agarose gel and stained with ethidium bromide. Control lanes (‘C’) contained no PA_N in the reaction mixture. Molecular weight (MW) ladder (kb) is shown on the left.
