Detection of WHcAg-specific antibodies in the sera of C57BL/6 mice after DNA prime-AdV boost immunization. Mice were primed two times (2×) by immunization with the pCGWHc plasmid. Four weeks later, boosting immunization with Ad5WHc or Ad35WHc or with pCGWHc for reference was performed. Mice immunized with empty pCG and boosted with Ad5 expressing GFP served as controls. WHcAg-specific IgG (A), IgG2a (B), or IgG1 (C) antibodies were detected in sera collected 2 weeks after the last, boosting immunization (serum dilution, 1:5,000).
