After transfection with the pEGFP-LC3 plasmid for 6 h, the cells were infected with IAV (MOI = 2.0) and treated as Fig. 5 . At 8 h post infection, the cells were visualized under an invert fluorescence microscope (10×40), the percentages of cells containing EGFP-LC3 dots to cells expressing EGFP were calculated in 10 fields chosen at random from three independent experiments in a 6-well microplate.
