A selected region of the 2D-EXSY spectrum of the phosphorylated peptide SSYFSG[p]TPLEDDSD is displayed (A) in the absence of TbPin1; (B) in the presence of TbPin1; (C) in the presence of the TbPin1-C65A mutant; (D) in the presence of the FHA-truncated TbPar42 mutant (TbPPIase). A mixing time of 300 ms was used. The cis and trans T7-HN and L9-HN are shown in the spectra, which were assigned based on the 2D-TOCSY spectrum of the peptide. Diagonal peaks from cis and trans conformers are indicated by cc and tt, respectively, whereas exchange peaks resulting from isomerization are labeled with ct and tc.
