Neuroprotective effect of CAPE in 6-OHDA-injected mouse model. (A) Experimental schedule of 6-OHDA injection and CAPE administration. The first CAPE injection was made 30 min before LPS. (B, C) Representative photographs showing mouse midbrain sections containing SNpc (B) and the striatum (C) at 14 days after intrastriatal injection of 4 µg 6-OHDA in 2 µL saline containing 0.2% ascorbic acid. An equal volume of saline containing 0.2% ascorbic acid was injected into the contralateral side.
