Intra-articular injection of high molecular weight hyaluronate significantly improved pain and range of motion at 26 weeks of follow-up for study subjects with glenohumeral osteoarthritis. Subjects were treated with one injection per week for 3 weeks of high molecular weight hyaluronate and followed up after treatment for 26 weeks. Data represents mean change from baseline (week 1) ± standard deviation after treatment with high molecular weight hyaluronate in (A) pain visual analog scores and (B)% range of motion over 26 weeks of follow-up.
