(A) LDH activity measured from culture media collected after treatment of cells with different doses of IP6 for 24 hours. Results are presented relative to the LDH activity in the media of control cells (100% of cell viability) and of cells treated with 1% Triton X-100 (0% cell viability) using the equation described in Materials and Methods section. Values represent the mean ± SEM. Significant differences were assessed by Mann-Whitney test: *p≤0.05 versus untreated cells (n = 6). (B) Proliferation of RAW 264.7 cells treated with different doses of IP6 for 24 hours and labeled with BrdU for 6 h. Values are expressed as a percentage of control cells, which were set to 100%. Values represent the mean ± SEM. Significant differences were assessed by Student’s t test (n = 6).
