THC injection increased serum IgE in the absence of CB1 and CB2. CB−/− or wild type C57BL/6 mice were pretreated or not 18 hrs prior to immunization with OVA/ALUM. The mice were boosted and sera collected 5–6 days later for ELISA analysis. The IgE levels in non-treated wild-type (normal) and non-treated CB−/− mice were the same and SR1 treatment only had no effect (data not shown).
