B. mori miRNA suppression increases BmNPV proliferation in larvae. (A) Quantitative-PCR analysis of ie-1 of BmNPV to determine the viral load in Ran and Dicer-2 knockdown larvae. Larvae injected with GFP dsRNA were used as a negative control. Three independent experiments were carried out in three replicates each with a set of 3 larvae, and the results were normalized against endogenous 18S rRNA. (B) The virus load was determined by scoring the OBs from hemolymph of Ran knockdown BmNPV-infected larvae. Three independent experiments were performed with a set of 3 larvae.
