The ratio of the quantum efficiencies of 3b, c (~0.2–0.5 mM) disappearance in the samples purged with O2 (ΦO2) and N2 (ΦN2) for 15 min. Irradiated at λ = 313 nm; the conversions were followed by HPLC using methyl benzoate (2 × 10−4 M) as an internal standard. The 95% confidence interval is given; the number of independent measurements is given in the parentheses for each set of experiments.
