Data are given as means ± SE (n = 4). Compounds are listed in order of GC elution time. *Indicates compound identified using authentic standards. All other compounds were tentatively identified based on their mass spectra in comparison to those in the literature and databases as described in the methods. Results of statistical analysis are given as F-values (shown as non-italicized numbers) of a one-way repeated measures ANOVA tests if variances were equal and errors normally distributed, or as χ2-values (shown as italicized numbers) if the nonparametric test was used. If the ANOVA revealed significant differences, post-hoc tests were conducted and different letters next to the data indicate significant differences (p < 0.05) among plant organs.
