The level of IL-1β (a) and IL-6 (b) in serum was measured by ELISA in urethane-injected mice and PBS-injected mice. (Data reported as the mean ± SEM for n = 8 per group and compared against PBS-injected by using a Student t-test. P < 0.05 were considered significant.)
