Genes that were positively regulated by CepR in the transcriptome analysis are shown in gray, genes that were also identified as QS-regulated in the iTRAQ study are depicted in black, and genes with no change in expression are presented as open arrows. Numbers refer to the annotated genes of B. cenocepacia J2315 (Holden et al. 2009). The presence of CepR binding sites has been demonstrated/reported for the promoter regions of BCAL0831 2006, BCAM1868 2006, BCAM0189 (Malott et al. 2009), and BCAS0293 2004. Small black arrows represent the regions and orientation of the fragments used to generate promoter fusions of BCAL1677, BCAM0186, and BCAM2143.
