Compared to vehicle treatment in rats with CCI, G-CSF treatment in rats with CCI significant increased the number of circulating WBCs and PMN cells at 3, 6, 12, 24, and 48 h after CCI. In contrast, the levels of circulating lymphocytes and monocytes at the above-mentioned time points were not significantly different between the G-CSF- and vehicle-treated rats with CCI, except at 6 h when there was a transient increase in the level of lymphocytes in vehicle group.
