The effect of the H1/H2 haplotypes (tagged by rs17665188) on the expression of MAPT exon 3: MAPT exon 3 expression (Affymetrix probe set 3723712) stratified by genotype at rs17665188 in 134 brain samples for 10 brain regions. Increased exon 3 expression was associated with the homozygous major allele (CC). A similar association pattern was observed in all brain regions except for white matter (P = 0.03).
